Our visit at Casa De Luz

It was really great to share songs, a bible story, simple dental hygiene, toothbrushes, floss, toothpaste, bubbles, and nail polish with these kids. The girls were lined up to get their nails done. One girl in the wheel chair shared a bible story with us, a song and even prayed over us. :)

  1. That's cool - did the Spanish lessons help? Did the guitar issues get all sorted out?

  2. Hi onemouth!

Sorry I just noticed your questions on here.

The Spanish lessons helped us to get the just of what was going on and talk in broken Spanish, but we definitely needed a translator.

The guitar issue did get solved. The mission compound found us a guitar in their area and we paid them for it when we got there. Then before we left the Dominican Republic, we donated it back to the missionaries to give to someone that might need it.:)

    Thanks for your questions. :)
